We entered in to a promotional agreement with The Papworth Trust and the Varrier Jones Foundation to maximise value through the planning process on a 4.98 Acre Site in the centre of Papworth. The partially derelict site with some redundant workshop buildings fronts the High Street. After extensive negotiations outline planning permission was granted for 58 units and detailed planning permission for 8 residential units, a community bakery, microbrewery and pub. We introduced a social enterprise vehicle to provide community facilities and amenities, which will provide suitable uses for the former workshop buildings fronting the High Street and give a beneficial outcome to the Village this has enabled the affordable provision to be significantly reduced. Under the Promotional Agreement We funded all the legal, planning, design and sales activities recovering costs on sale and reward by a percentage of the sale price achieved.
